The keepsake box lid is supported with either a right or left lid friction support. The lid stays in position when the box is open. The memory boxes are supported with a built in hinge stop to keep the lid supported when open. The hinges and the latches are beautiful nickel, gold or Antique finished. The box corners have added cushion, and then covered with a thick batting which underlay's the beautiful fabric and designs which are characteristic of Cressberg's unique, handcrafted Keepsakes and Memory boxes.
